About Us
Our soft spot for Labrador retrievers goes back to our involvement with the Guide Dog Foundation. We've raised and trained seven puppies for them and continue to train and care for their dogs when needed. Dale is a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer, so she understands dog body language and is a good judge of canine character. This also allows her to offer "board-and-trains" if customers have issues they want her to work on during their dog's stay with us. This can include housebreaking a puppy. Board-and-Trains run $120/day (includes tax).
Husband Arne is a lover of all things LAB. He has a unique talent for making our first-timers feel at ease here. Patience and understanding make him a great communicator with the canine world.

Tumbler, our golden retriever, was released from the Guide Dog program and adopted by us. Krypto, the black lab/golden retriever cross, is a retired guide dog that we're delighted to have back in our care.
