About Us
Our soft spot for Labrador retrievers & lab-golden crosses goes back to our involvement with the Guide Dog Foundation. We've raised and trained five puppies for them and continue to care for their dogs when needed. Dale is a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer, so she understands dog body language and is a good judge of canine character. This also allows her to offer "board and trains" if customers have issues they want her to work on during their off-peak stay with us. This can include housebreaking a puppy. Board-and-Trains run $90/day.
Husband Arne is a lover of all things LAB. He has a unique talent for making our first-timers feel at ease here. Patience and understanding make him a great communicator with the canine world. He loves nothing better than to come home from work to a house full of wonderful dogs that are tail-waggin' happy to greet him!

Tumbler, our golden retriever, was released from the Guide Dog program and adopted by us. Krypto, the black lab/golden retriever cross, is a retired guide dog that we're delighted to have back in our care.
